Skin

The look started with the skin and lips being prepped. Ultra Moisturizing Cream was used over the face: NeoStrata Lip Conditioner - SPF 15 on the lips. Frances then created a base for the skin using a combination of two shades of Liquid Foundation with a lighter shade of Select Cover-Up . Apply the foundation with a 190 Brush and the concealer with the 194 Brush. Brush 168 was then used to precisely apply Loose Face Fix to the T-zone. Eyes

Frame the eye with a clean, defined brow. Follow the natural arch. Use a warm eye shadow like Concrete to strengthen the line with the 266 Brush. Curl eye lashes with the Full Lash Curler. Frances used several layers of Anna Sui Super Mascara Long Lash #001. After each application, the lashes were combed through with the 102 Brush.

Frances recommends doing the mascara and brow before actually doing the eye makeup. It puts the eye in balance and gives you a better idea of where to go.

Eyes 2

This look uses three tones of Eye Shadow: M.A.C. Eye Shadow Trax, a light plum tone, M.A.C. Nocturnelle, a mid-tone plum, and M.A.C. Shadowy Lady, a darker plum. To achieve Tia's eye, start with Trax, applying it over the lid and up to the brow bone. Then apply mid-tone Nocturnelle over the outer third of the eyes, blending it out to create a really soft colour. For definition, use 244 Brush to apply Shadowy Lady across the eye lash line and on the outer corner, along the bottom of the lid. Blend to soften. With the angled brush, apply Shadowy Lady to the outer corner, then, with a clean 210 Pencil Brush, blend across to give shading under the lash line, stopping about half-way. Eyes 2 Closeup

When applying colour to the face (eye or cheek), place your brush first on the spot where you want to deposit the most color. Always give yourself room to blend.

Cheek

Using the MAC 116 Brush, Raizin Powder Blush was used to define the cheek while Pink Flurry Sheer Shimmer Powder was applied as an over-layer for a subtle hint of pink. Using two complementary colors on the cheek adds colour interest and provides more dimension than one coloor. Subtle blending and softening provides a natural look. Looking for Cosmetics CLICK HERE

Lips

The idea here was to give Tia's lips a sensuous gleam while adding polish to the overall look. To complement her colour palette and accent the natural pigments in her lips, M.A.C. Fine Point Lip Liner Appointed
in Currant was used to line the lips with M.A.C. Lipstick Mystic being used as key lip colour. To draw attention to her natural pout, a little dab of M.A.C. Lacquer Soiled
(The custom designed brush delivers a remarkable, high shine), was applied to the center of the lip.

Take the Concealer color and with MAC Brush 194 lightly apply around the edge of the lips. Highlighting the mouth in this way will cause the color on the lips to stand out.
