Nikia and Andre booked the spectacularly quirky American Visionary Arts Museum for their wedding and reception.
It is a wonderful venue, offering so many unique places for portraits, as well as a stunning backdrop for the wedding events.
Nikia and Andre hired Bellwether Events and decided on a Willy Wonka (the original movie version) themed wedding.
Nikia and Andre wed under an arch covered in 35mm and 8mm film, a literal interpretation of their movie theme.
When they exchanged their very personal vows, there was not a dry eye in the house.
The Reception
The details are what made this wedding extra amazing: half-wedding cake, the movie quotes, the candy and chocolate bar, and the 3D menu card. It was an incredibly original and colorful and wonderful wedding.
OK so we knew there would be a candy bar... but yippee anyway. That chocolate fountain will haunt me in my diet dreams...
