So you've popped the big question. I know you think you are done... But It ain't over yet! Believe it or not, there are some things you should be doing to prepare for the wedding. To help you out, here is a checklist for you and your groomsmen.

Your Checklist:

_____ Make the list of Wedding guests and go over it with your family

_____ Choose a wedding date with your fiancée

_____ Discuss who's paying for what with your fiancée

_____ Invite the people that you want in your wedding party (best man, ushers)

_____ Go shopping with your fiance to check out formalwear

_____ Choose gifts for the best man and ushers to hand out to them before the wedding

_____ Select bride's wedding present if you are giving her something special in addition to her wedding ring

_____ Purchase the bride's wedding ring and have them engraved

_____ Plan the honeymoon and gather necessary documents (visa, passort,vaccination)

_____ Pay for the bride's bouquet, corsages for both mothers, and boutonnieres for the men

_____ Apply for the marriage license and give it to the best man on your wedding day

_____ Look over the paperwork that will need to change once you are married (car, life, home insurance)

_____ Arrange for tuxedo renting/purchase for you and make reservations for your wedding party's attire

_____ Help plan for the rehearsal dinner

_____ Purchase traveler checks

_____ Attend to financial matters (insurance policies, bank account changes)

_____ Assist in writing thank-you notes (so you don't have to after the honeymoon)

_____ Inform the wedding party about the wedding rehearsal (when, where)

_____ Arrange for transportation including your getaway vehicle

_____ Pay the officiant fee and give it to the best man on your wedding day

_____ Send a thank-you note to your new in-laws the day you leave for your honeymoon
