Health: Coping With Wedding Stress

Here are some ways to combat the trials of planning:

LET YOUR SENSES COME ALIVE TO POSITIVE THINGS.
Take a slow walk towards your place of work. If you're in front of a computer, enable your screen saver, stand up and walk outside for a few moments. Let your eyes see, your ears hear, your mouth taste and your senses tingle. Many times we take the passing of the world too much for granted. Notice that small budding flower; wave at the store owner setting up her wares, even if you don't know each other; take a whiff at your neighbor's cooking; feel the heat or cold brush your skin; be alive today! SLOW DOWN.
Spend ten minutes in quiet solitude allowing your body to heal itself from all the rush, haste and scurrying. What's ten minutes to the rest of your 16 waking hours? Bring to mind good memories. That's what they're there for. Or remember that hip-slapping joke. Breathe slowly and get in touch with yourself in those few moments. CANDLES

TREAT YOURSELF.
Get an ice cream cone with everything on top; watch a B-movie; give a homeless person an unusually generous amount; better yet, treat a friend to an ice cream cone. CANDLES

DO A DIFFERENT TAKE ON THE ABOVE.
In other words, don't allow yourself to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of wedding stress. It is a necessary occurrence, but life is so much more than that. Life is to be enjoyed, your wedding planning treasured. Don't let anything or anyone take that away from you. CANDLES

BE HAPPY!
Planning will come to you much easier.
