QUICK BUDGET ADVICE

Planning a wedding can be a very difficult task. However if you go into it with some knowledge it can be rewarding! I am going to talk about the biggest stress…the budget!

People often go into a wedding not knowing what to expect in terms of budgeting. Review the following tips, take my advice and you'll be set to go!!

    1. Determine whoÂ’s paying for what! Now a word of caution if someone else is paying for your wedding, be prepared to have their approval on whatever they are paying for.

    2. Determine the number of guests that you want to invite (and stick with it).

    3. Decide on the type of wedding you would like to have formal, semi formal or informal.

    4. Think of venueÂ’s you are attracted to castles, hotels, wineries, mansions, local landmarks (etc).
Now, once you have determined these things, meet with a local wedding consultant. By doing this she (or he) can design a budget based on your area. There are lots of programs out there that can to help you, however your coordinator will be able to give you a more realistic view for your city and state. And perhaps give you a list of vendors who are in your price range. Be prepared to pay a little for this service but trust me itÂ’s worth it!

ThereÂ’s nothing worse than seeing something you canÂ’t have!

Now your coordinator can also give you some advise on how to cut cost but always remember, never cut on your photography! You will always have those memories, and if a price looks to good to be true, then usually it is!!

Remember the number one thing that will affect your budget: Your guest count!!

Until next timeÂ…Happy planning! Chanda
