Wedding programs list the events of the ceremony as they will take place, as well as the people who will participate in your ceremony. Your parents, members of the bridal party, the officiants, can all be named, as well as other people such as the musicians or singers. The end of your program text is a good place to say a few words of thanks to your parents and others who were particularly supportive and helpful in the past as in:

Our ancestors gave us our rich heritage.
Our families gave us life, love and comfort.
Our Maker gave us each other--

And you gave us great joy by celebrating these gifts with us.
Thank you for your presence.
You have been very special to us and this ceremony
might not have taken place without you.
