Good morning and welcome to the vibride sisterhood. We do a lot of projects ourselves for our wedding, therefore, if you're thinking about something, chances are one of us has already done it and would be more than happy to share it with you. Have fun with this!!!
Please check your e-mail. I've just sent it to you. Happy planning!!!
I wanted layered programs for my wedding but they were so expenisive i didnt think it was worth it...but thankfully I saw the message board with the DIY layering program I was so HAPPY I can actually achieve the look i was looking for without spending a so much money!
Welcome to the sisterhood Grechen!!! You can have an elegant program made for under $20 if you choose to do this pattern. You could cut the papers at work. Call a DIY party with your attendants, mix some Margaritas and have them help you assemble... Your choices are endless.
So, when is your blessed Event? Please post your ticker and we'll count down with you. Happy planning!!!
I know your post is almost a year old, but I am desperate!!!! Would you please email your template for this program to me. I want to use it for my daughter's wedding in June. IT is absolutely perfect!!!
thanks I already got it. My next question, I do not have Microsoft Publisher. Do you have it in Word or another program? If not, I can find possibly someone with that program.
Sorry, I'm always using Publisher so it's easier for me to do the templates on Publisher, but if you have microsoft office 2003 or better, it comes with Microsoft Publisher and then you'd be able to open the file.
Maybe someone else is doing it using Microsoft word or has done it with Microsoft Word and would be willing to share their templates with you as well.

Hello and welcome!
I "did" have the template ...but it was on the laptop that got stolen after the wedding. I know that's not any use to you, however I can still try and help you through WORD. You really can make your template after you do this first one, it's really easy, the instructions are already here, so all you have to do is in WORD "for each sheet" go to Page Layout, then Size, then More Paper Sizes ...then you will see where you can adjust the size of the paper according to what size you want to print on ...after you save them all you have your template. Don't forget the instructions are right here on this post.
My future daughter in law wants this same program. Can you please send me the dims and any instructions you have?
Thanks for tyour help. I really like this layered look.
I love the look of the layered program!! I've been looking like crazy for a diy program that i love! Would it be possible to have the template sent to me? my email is: ashley_rene14@yahoo.com Thanks!
I'm a Newbie to this website and it is very informative...
Can someone pass along the template for the Layered Programs?
My email is brownp11003@yahoo.com Thanks

Welcome to the sisterhood Mimosa and Letty. Congrats on your upcoming events. Please check your e-mails. I just sent the instructions and templates that you've both requested. Happy Planning!!!
The layered program is beautiful. I am helping my sister plan her weddding which is Sept.12th. Her colors are chocolate, cayenne ( burnt orange) and cream. Can someone please share the templates ? Also, are there any cooridnating items, ie. invitation, menu cards, or table cards. Thank you for your assitance.
okay, I was determined to try my hand at these so I actually made these for a wedding I coordinated this weekend and OMG, let me just say......START EARLY. Assembling 200 of these took forever!!! I don't plan on cutting ribbon, threading ribbon or punching holes anytime soon. Definitely a job that you need to get others involved in helping you do.

Welcome to the sisterhood sisterlove. Please check your e-mail for the instructions and templates. As far as coordinating items, we've pretty much create our own and share with our sisters. I'm not sure when the wedding is, but please keep checking with the sisterhood, we'll be creating a lot more things and maybe some will be the items that you seek. Please check your e-mail.
I must agree with Pamcrow, give yourselves time if you're planning on doing this project. Try to start this done, 3 weeks to a month prior to the wedding. You'll be grateful that you did. Or print the materials and at your last "Meet and Greet" with your attendants, have an assembly line going. Have fun!!!

I must agree with you Pam. I didn't realize how long it would take us to assemble the programs! Definitely begin this project 3 weeks to a month before the wedding as Ginoue suggested to allow yourself enough time to finish the programs with out any pressure! I also designed/printed/assembled 200 programs, and while I had everything printed out and ready to begin assembly, we didn't actually begin to assemble the programs until 1 week before the wedding, mainly because my wedding was out of state along with all of my help!! Tying the ribbons definitely took the longest.
Ladies,
Great counsel; i will heed your calls. Thank you again for all of the templates. I will begin working on the aisle runner project this weekend and have my sister enlist friends and BM as we get closer to her September wedding.
love these programs!! so much in fact that i'm going to make them for my upcoming october wedding. i was wondering if you can send me an example of how you formatted your pages with 2-column print. i'm having a hard time figuring how the text looks best. can you help me?
I am new to this site and find this forum very helpful. There's really a lot of talented people here. My wedding is in September and I've decided to do my programs after finding this forum. Will someone please send me a template for the layered programs. They're just what I'm looking for. cmt_0720@yahoo.com
Welcome to the sisterhood CMT and jlanetteb. Please check your e-mails for the instructions and templates. I would suggest that you both start this project at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding as this is very time consuming.
I received the templates. My wedding is not until September, but I think I'll do a trial run and make a few to see the outcome. I'm not very crafty so the practice will definitely help me. LOL
So, I started working on my layered program this morning. I want to include the parents' and grandparents' names somewhere on the program but I'm not sure where. There is no room on the "wedding party" page, so I'm not sure where to fit them in at. Any suggestions???
Also, we have 5 deceased loves ones whose names we want to list on the program too. Any ideas as to where I could put those names as well as the explanation to the guests on how we're honoring those loved ones in the ceremony???
