Ironically, I work on the business side of the Robert Treat Hotel. The Crystal Ballroom is absolutely beautiful!

The discount isn't that much unfortunately. We are going have the ceremony at our church St. James AME in Newark and the reception will be at the Richfield Regency in Verona.

Update: We decided to change the date tentatively to August 2, 2008. I wanted to feel more secure about the weather and move away from wedding season (June)
I actually have 2 dates now.....My original date is March 24, 2007. My FH and I will be either going to Vegas or the JOP and getting married on that day. And then we will be doing a renewal on December 8,2007 for our families to attend. Also this is the day before my 24th birthday!
We had to push things back becasue everything was going crazy! My bridesmaids dont have their dresses and the "wedding" is 3 months away (due to the company). My family from Texas needed more time to save and plan for everyone to come out here. I found out that instead of the 4 or 5 I knew were coming 20+ more are coming with them! So I figure why not have the wedding around the holidays so we can all be together then!And that is the day before my birthday so I get to party twice as hard! To save me from stressing I just decided it would be best to push the date to December 8th.
I'm NOT computer savvy AT ALL...but if you click on the ticker of someone that has a ticker it'll take you to the site where you can obtain one and design your own. Then after you create one it'll give a weird code (URL???) Next you highlight it and "copy" it and than "paste" it into your signiture on your profile in the part where it says signiture. it'll show up on all of your posts.

You can always change your ticker. Even if your date is tentitive, at least you'll have one to look at and keep youself focused on what's coming up in '08
