Re: bridal shower

Yeah I understand the all or nothing principal it makes complete sense!! But yeah - I understand you not wanting her to be there, I dont know I would say that she is now family- and thats one of those things you cant really choose- unlike friends, besides do you want the rest of the sisters losing out because of her. What if you just ignored her..or got someone close to you to watch her and keep her under control...I cant imagine the bitterness if I didnt invite my FH's sisters to my shower, yeah if they got wind of it it would be awful- especially if you just leave ONE out- yeah that would be more drama than just having her at the shower- dont stress do it with finesse

Unfortunately, we can't pick who our relatives should be when we decide to get married. As such, though your soon to be sister-in-law is full of drama as you said, you should be the classy person that you are and invite her. Now, nothing says that you have to be chummy with her, but be very polite and engage her in all types of games if you're having them, just so she wouldn't have anything negative to say, even if she wanted to.

Invite her....Never give someone more reasons to trip. I always leave it up to them to start something....That way I can always be on the defensive...So when it goes down: Me: "It was self-defense!"

Thanks Ladies,
I'm going to take your advice and invite her, and hopefully she will keep her drama at home.

queen, she probably won't leave the drama at home but she's your sister now so get used to it. My advice would be to have her around you as much as you can stand so she can get to know you and see that you ain't playin from the get.

Re: bridal shower

I personally think that you should just invite her just to keep the peace.
