I was browsing for pics for a bridal shower I am planning and I found a site called "Chair Gowns". I couldn't get back to ya'll fast enough to post the website for this unique option that I think is nice. Chair Gowns

Its not plastic, Its some kind of soft poly-blend material that doesn't make noise when you move and is 100% recyclable. Its like 1.75/chair. If its soft, I think its worth it. I may order this for our class reunion this summer. I think we can fit it in the budget. It may be more appropriate for a more flamboyant wedding or party even, not for something formal with lots of white. However, I'd love to see if someone plans to do this for their wedding, and if its worth it to purchase.

Cute for a bridal shower, graduation party, baby shower.... but I would not like it for a wedding reception.
Who knows? They may be. I wonder if they'd be willing to give you a sample. But you are right...they are definitely for a party and not a nice formal reception, but like I said, just passing it along...
Dag House you gotta crack on the people product like that?!?!?!? LOL:)

LOL, I know sometimes I come across a little harsh, however I really dont like the look of the chair covers. I personally think that they look horrible. I wouldnt want them for any event that I was throwing. I would rather not have chair covers

House, you don't have to explain anything...Remember, honesty is best here and nothing less:) I prefer it 100% over straight rudeness, and we've had that here in the past. So no worries....Yes they are a little "different", but hey I think they are interesting. Yet I would have to see it in person to decide...The pics to me are not bad though...

House ------------------> to the corner! LOL! I must admit though, Bumble, I love you like a play cousin, but I was not feeling those "chair gowns" either!
I decided just not to comment because I believe in the old addage that "If you have nothing good to say, it's best to just say nothing at all"
Okay after the poor reviews I went back to site for a closer look at pics. Originally I just "peeked" at pics and thought not bad. After a second more closer look, I have to agree with the ladies, not very appealing. I think for a prom (magical, whimsical) it could work but I can't think of anything else. I do like the "how to's" listed on site. If you are a decorator, that info is helpful. Just substitute tulle or satin for the material.
