As far as I have read, members of your wedding party receive an invitation, sort of as a keepsake. But as far as paid participants, they do not receive an invitation. Correct me if I am wrong on this ladies. How are your invitations coming along Soon? I'm still working on mine. I have applied all of the labels, printed out all of the inserts, and hand written all of the names on the inner envelopes. I now have to add the postage and stuff everything, and they should be ready to go by next Mon. or Tues. as planned!
[quote="Bumblebeekee"]Are paid participants the vendors? Like the photographer or caterers? Then no....They are there to work....
If this is not what you mean, then I don't know, I'd need you to elaborate on whats a "paid participant." :)

Yes Bumble, that is who I was talking about-vendors etc..but my caterer, photographer, videographer are also church members so do they still fall under this "rule"?

WELL... :) last night I start printing the envelopes (inner & outer) 1 by 1 (they didn't cooperate too well) so I only got about 10 completed before I got frustrated and quit, but my goal is to try to do atlease 10 a night until I get them done-should be finished by Mon. or Tues also if I don't run out of green ink first! :) and I stuffed the 10 last night, only need to add direction and hotel info for out of town guest and it will be a wrap! My local people and church members will get their's hand delivered! :)
is it etiquette to give an invitation to wedding party participants or paid participants?

Anyone who will be sitting at a guest table for the reception should receive an invite.
