Wild Growth Oil

Hello, I was wondering if any of you ladies have ever used or heard of this product. If so, what results did you get?

It is supposed to be a very good product for all hair types.

Re: Wild Growth Oil

Hi Seeker. I've used it for a little while. Not enough to see any results because I didn't like the scent. Sorry.

I know I'm late with a response on this but I know a few people that use it. They say that it doesn't do much for hair growth but it makes your new growth soft and manageable. I'm trying to give my hair rest from relaxers for a while.I may start using it again. I hope this helps!

I use it when I have braids. Since it's a liquid its easier to oil my scalp. I haven't noticed it helping more with my hair growth and don't care for the scent but as Plat stated, it does soften my new growth. This is especially helpful with the braids because they don't look "old" so quickly.

I don't think wild growth oil has been regarded by anyone I know as something that works. However, you can try hair, skin and nail vitamins (alternate with your regular vitamins if you take them).
GNC has a good hair, skin and nail vitamin as well as Andrew Lessman (HSN). I ordered Lessman's hair, skin and nail vitamins (he has a very good line of them-my mom SWEARS by them)GUUUUURRRRRL, I had hair growing in places I didn't know hair could grow! Needless to say my hair (naturally grows fast) but taking these vitamins had me hairy....lol. But that's the purpose right? Give it a try, and it helps if you are eating well too.

Re: Wild Growth Oil

I haven't tried it but I am a big fan of Tea Tree Oil-Whether its in an oil form or the hair grease form. Its been 7 months since I've permed cause I am going natural and it also make my new growth soft. But I noticed growth too. I was told Jojoba Oil helps too, my SIL suffered some hair loss which we thought was stress and just learned it was Graves Disease (hyperactive thyroid), but she said the Jojoba Oil grew her hair back, and it had been falling out in almost patches. I haven't found it yet, and I think she ordered it online, but she swears by it, and she is the skeptic of all skeptics!

Good Nutrition DOES help also. Plenty of protein, calcium, and micronutrients and antioxidants such as Vitamin A, E, C, and your B-vitamins like Biotin, Niacin, and Thiamin helps you have healthy skin, nails, and strong, not brittle hair.

PLUS- Too many chemical treatments eventually will ruin your follicle, or (like my mom-who now wears dreads)-your hair will completely not respond chemicals...so be careful:)

Re: Wild Growth Oil

I recently began taking a Biotin supplement and have noticed my hair and nails are growing faster. Check this: it was only $1.50 for 500 pills from Target! As long as I didn't die I figured it was worth a try! LOL!

Bumblebee, have you checked GNC or the Health Food Stores for Jojoba Oil. I found some at a GNC.

I haven't! I will check there cause its near my house....Since the economy is tight, I will have to use up all my Tea Tree Oil, and check the finances at that time:)

Thanks Plat!
