No it is not way too much. I love the doves and it fits right in with your theme. Very nice.

You sure it doesn't look "chessy"...I'm asking bc none of the pieces are expensive at all ...and I want to make sure although I'm looking for cheap stuff it doesn't look that way ... :)

Turiya in my honest opinion, I don't think it coordinates with everything else you have done so far. So far your ideas have been modern, youthful and with bold colors. This doesn't have that same feel.

The flower girl basket is gorgeous. I think the personalized guest book you picked and the gold unity candles with plain holder will compliment your overrall color scheme much more nicely. Good choices.
Didn't you mention before you were doing a personalized isle runner? I might be confusing brides but if so, how's that going? Did you finish?

Thanks ...Yeah I'm one doing yet another DIY project -aisle runner ...
I purchased the runner/paints over the weekend, and printed out the words for the runner yesterday ...they are:
Married
Get
To
Season
The
Tis
Tis the season to get married ...I wrote it out like that bc I did it backward yesterday and I have to keep in mind the words got up the runner not down, so ppl can read as they walk up the runner.
I was just trying to think of something nice and sweet to put on the tag for the candy canes, so far I have:
We are hooked on each other! ~ Thank you (and our names)
I am hooked on our sweet love! (? don't know about this one) ~ Thank you (and our names)
Love has us hooked! ~ Thank you (and our names)
What do you ladies think? Do you have any others they could go with candy canes?

What about..."I got my hooks in him now" LOL, just joking. Can you imagine that saying with that cake topper that has the groom trying to get away and the bride pulling him back. That would be so funny.
I really like the "We're hooked on each Other" and "Love has us hooked." Very creative. I would probably omit the thank you part and just include your names and date on the tag. I think the fact you even gave a favor implies thanks, plus you will be sending thank you cards later anyway.

Pam is on point with that suggestion! our tags just have We Jumped the Broom with our names on it (attached to a mini broom decorated in our wedding colors with a magnet on the back)

I always put my name first - it sounds better to me! I think "etiquette" states the woman's name goes 1st before the wedding and the man's name goes 1st after the wedding.
