I attempted to make my invitations on Vistaprint (they are much cheaper) I came up with 3. Which one do you like best.

Ivy I think the wrong image came through for option #3. I absolutely love #2.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Ok its fixed

oh okay there's #3. A few minutes ago it showed a picture of your dress again. Here my vote in order, #2, #3, #1.
Can the words on the back of #3 be shifted over some? If so, I would like number 3 best with a ribbon added to the left side of invite.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Yup the text can all be moved around. I was thinking about adding a pink ribbon to the top of #2
But a ribbon on #3 would be pretty too.

#2 has alot going on already so a ribbon might be over kill. #3 seems like the one side is missing something which is why I suggested ribbon for that one. I was originally thinking a ribbon with bow but a flat ribbon threaded through a rhinestone "belt buckle" would look nice on #3 also.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
I'm liking #2!

Hey Ivy -- you go girl!!!!
#2 Hands down gets my vote.
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
I don't know, I'm liking #1 :) followed by 2 and then 3
So I made a minor change to #2 I took the RSVP information off the back so now only the directions are there and then I created a business card that matches the invite and included the reception information on the business card.

The last one looks like some business cards I've seen people use....I like the contemporary feel of #3. #1 is a little busy for me. The big rose on the background is beautiful in #2, but I worry about how the actual print will come out. I forgot your wedding colors but #3 then #2 is my choice....As long as the invites flow with the rest of the paper like the programs, save-the-dates, menu and escort cards etc...if you even like that route.

I see what you mean about #2 I'm gonna see if I can put the picture into word and make it see through and then add it to the invite.
The reception card is similar to the magnets I used for STDs
My wedding colors are hot pink, black and silver accents

that's why I chose #1-I like 2 but the rose overpowered you guys names-I think they should definetly stand out! :)
When I tried to watermark the picture it came out too blurry, but I enlarged and bolded the font on our names and made the picture smaller so that the darker parts of the picture didn't affect the text anymore

Really nice job Ivy! I like #2 the best, followed by #3, then #1. I'm thinking Pam's idea of a ribbon on #3 will look really nice, might even move it up to first place:)

Ivy try this ...keep the rose the way it is ...but make it smaller and put a smaller one in the lower right hand corner and upper left hand corner
OR
a smaller one in both lower corners and a pink ribbon at the top with your names in pink ..
Play with that and see how you like it ...:)

You guys are great, i love the creativity here. I am totally DIY challenged lol, and i would not think of doing some of these things myself. Ivy is trying to do her own invitations you go girl, Turiya did her own veil and what a stunning veil it is, someone did their own programs and posted it for us to see (im sorry I forgot who that was)and it was absolutly beautiful. I am very impressed with you ladies, go on with ur bad selves lol. Sorry if I forgot anyone.
here is the one like Turiya suggested

I also created a monogram but I heard it was bad luck to use it on the invite. (I'm trying to find other places to use it)

Ivy-like the changes now I will change my vote to #2! :)
I still think #3 is my favorite...its so clean and contemporary...but I wish there was some pink in it to keep up the flow....I like the revisions you made, and I think you are doing a great job...That other one...the "last one" I talked about in my previous post has so much pink in it...and I KNOW I have seen some business cards look like that one.....So my previous exposure to it just threw me off....oh! but it may make a pretty save-the-date magnet!

I must agree with Bumble on this one - #3 takes the crown for me too. However adding bit of pink and a ribbon on the side will certainly improve it.

~God is LOVE~
Well ladies it looks like the final version (the black and white with the small pink flower) is it. My mom and dad saw that version and loved it.

Great! another thing you can check off of your list! :)
I love the final version of your invites. Great job Ivy!!!
I think the basic time frame is 6-8 weeks before the wedding, unless you are having a destination wedding or having it on a day other than Saturday then you my want to do it earlier or send save the dates out about 6 months earler.

Ivy is absolutely right, although, you might want to send them as early as you can not to exceed 3 months prior to your wedding as some of your guests may still be in negotiation with their bosses as tho obtaining the day off for your very special day.
