Yes God is GOOD!!! I can definitely relate to what you are feeling right now.

I was involved in a very bad accident 6/3/03 that no one believes I was able to walk away from. I had just bought a red Mitsubshi Montero that I didn't have a chance to pay the second car note on before I had the accident. Scary part about it was my dad hated the truck the moment he saw it saying "It's just like the truck Left Eye from TLC died in". He warned me to be careful because it's top heavy. Well about a month later, I was driving on the interstate during my lunch hour and this lady cut me off short making me swerve hard into my right lane causing my SUV to flip over twice. When I finished flipping I ended up back in an upright position but facing oncoming traffic. When the ambulance arrived I was sitting on the guardrail picking glass from my hair. They couldn't believe it wasn't a fatality from the looks of the vehicle. I had some scrapes on my hand and forehead and minor bruising. I gave my testimony that Sunday in church and couldn't stay composed at all. I still think back on it all and just say "Thank You Lord". Then I laugh at myself because one of the first things I remember doing once the vehicle stopped was to check and make sure I still had all my teeth. I mean really, who does that? I don't know where that came from.

Ieasha I'm so glad you are okay. Forgot to mention that while giving my own testimony. I hope you heal soon.

Oh my! You just gave me a flashback! I am so thankful that you are ok! I too had an accident on 11/6/2004. A mattress fell off a truck on the highway in front of me. it went under my tires, sent the car airborn into an 18-wheeler (which was a blessing becasue that kept me from going over a steep embankment)! I did three or four 360s, crashed head on into the median and ended up facing the opposite direction! All this with my son in the backseat. Iesha, continue to thank him for those angels that are around you. And don't be afraid to ride/drive! He'll calm your fears just as he protected you!

Thank God you're okay Ieasha! As a professional driver, I see a lot of traffic accidents and I always say a prayer for those that are involved. I've had many close calls as well and I thank God for keeping my FH and I safe while we are on the road. Pamcrow and Future, thank you for sharing your testimonies as well.

Let me share mine...Back in 2004, I was riding with my ex-hubby. We were arguing and he begin to drive at a high rate of speed. He lost control of the car and slammed into a tree at 60mph. If I hadn't worn my seatbelt, I probably would have been ejected from the car. Needless to say, I ended up with a broken ankle (I have a metal plate with seven screws in my ankle now). Last year, my mom was driving her SUV and she pulled into an intersection to make a left turn. A woman coming from another direction, ran her red light and hit my mom's SUV. Eyewitnesses stated that the lady hit my mom so hard, mom's SUV was lifted off the ground then slammed back down. Mom suffered slight neck pain. God is good! Judging by the pics, her injuries could have been much worse (especially since the impact was on her side). Sorry the post was so long.

I am really greatful for you and your family ieasha that you came out unharmed from the accident... God is indeed GREAT, that's why we always have to make Him part of our everyday lives & plans no matter how mundane you might think they are.

Following FH's accident in Sept this year - his car crashed through a barrier down a bridge because the road was wet and slippery from rain and oil spillage - I realised the importance of showing the ones you love how much you appreciate them bcos you never know when you might never see them.

The impact that I might have lost him while we were not on speaking terms - the night before the accident FH & I had an argument and I dropped the phone on him - really hit me hard and since then I try to resolve issues as soon as they crop up.

Ladies, I am having a VERY blessed spiritual moment right now and just wanted to share this with each of you beautiful ladies..as many of you know I lost my son in 2005 and my whole life changed...when I heard this song about 6 months ago I knew this was the song I wanted to walk down the isle too-not only did God keep me and restore me, but I have to give thanks to my FH because he helped me thru my storm and never faltered...I hope this encourages any of you that have been thru something, may be going thru something or will go thru something...be blessed!

honestly-probably NOT! :) and FH does not know that I am walking down to this-he thinks it is going to be Inseperable so I just pray for God's blessing because we BOTH will be a blubbering mess! LOL
we both love the song and it is weird that when we listen to it together, we both have the "teary eyes" which then really makes me cry to see the tears in his eyes...

LOL You are right! I am seriously thinking about instead of walking down the isle to get a wheelchair so atlease I will be sitting down instead of having to fall down! :)

Soon thanks for sharing the song. This is my first time hearing this song and I've already listened to it repeatedly. I think it would make a wonderful song to walk the aisle especially with the history you and FH share. Won't be a dry eye in the place. If you don't think you could walk the aisle, then as a first dance it would be an awesome choice as well.

I am glad to pass it along...it is such a blessing and a testimony that anyone can share because we all have made it, no matter what the circumstances. We are here making new friends on this board and I truly believe that God wants us to encourage one another and pass along the blessings!! :)
