Many of us have been dealing with some serious issues lately. I wanted to start this topic so that we can offer prayer and suggestions for positive books to read and/or good movies to watch. I know there's a thread for the latest Tyler Perry movie (I hope to see it this weekend). But, can you offer anymore suggestions? I'll start with this one...
Ladies, please check out this book. I've learned so much and I'm not half way in to it yet. It's called: GIVE IT BACK! by Kimberly Daniels It deals with the topic of Spiritual Warfare. It's very easy to understand and this sista backs it up with scriptures.

I haven't started any new books but I have been studying the life of Moses, David and Abram (Abraham) and Sarah in the bible....The thing I have been learning about is obedience and worship to God and forgiveness from God (David and Moses) and unfettered, pure unadulturated, unquestioning, uncomplaining faith of Abraham and his wife Sarah (2 of the most obedient characters -among many-in the Old Testament).....They are both my favorite characters of the Old Testament and having a closer look along with learning about Biblical History has helped me understand faith and worship....

The tried and true book of Psalms in the Bible -- you can find something for whatever you are going through.
A friend gave me a copy of Pastor Joel Osteens book "Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living At Your Full Potential". I must say it was an inspiring book. It was easy to read and a blessing!
