I agree!! I am working on the details of my ceremony now, and FH and I do not want our ceremony to last longer than 45 minutes, but we are really aiming for 30 minutes.

Yes it is!! I am here in Pittsburgh now (where my wedding will be). My sister and aunts are throwing me a bridal shower tomorrow, and I am soooo excited!! This is the best time for me to have a shower with school and everything. This part of the planning process is so much more difficult than the beginning stages, as we are down to the smaller details. It's really hard trying to make sure every little thing has been taken care of. Right now I am ordering paper for my DIY layered programs, trying to figure out ceremony details, just making sure things are in order. It's almost time for our invitations to go out Soon, are you prepared for that!! This is crazy...lol!!
I know!!! I worked on my fonts etc for my invitations last night...since I am not disciplined enough to hand write each envelope! :)I am going to just run theme through my printer; I know that the invitations should go out 6-8 weeks in advance, but I am probably sending mine out about 4 weeks before since mostly everyone I am inviting (family/friends) have already made arrangements to attend (out of towners included)
what about you?

I'm not disciplined enough to hand write my invitations either, so I will be using clear labels with a nice font from photoshop or Word. But I will be sending my invitations out 8 weeks before, just so I can be sure to get the final count in to everyone on time. RSVP's are due 3 weeks before the wedding date.
Seems to me that my sisters that are getting married within 2 - 3 months are all where they should be. You all are awesome ladies!!!
Thanks Ginoue!! Trying to stay on top of things, because planning a wedding while working on my Master's thesis can get pretty crazy at times!! Staying ahead of the game will help to reduce some of that stress:)

I had a very small wedding party, the pastor got straight to the point -- no extravegance, no extras, no rehearsal needed. Super simple.
