Creating a Wedding Theme

Hey Ladies, I need some help. I am getting married in Ja 10/25/08 and I need to create a theme for my wedding. I like Tropical Elegance as my theme. So I would like to use the colors from Jamaica. But how do I blend the colors with the decorations from the hotel. I am having a gazebo wedding. So I will be buying flowers to decorate once I get to JA they are included in my wedding package. I can be more if I need to. I will also be using the flowers to decorate for the reception. I am having my reception at a resturant and they supply white table linens, the glasses looked as if they were trimmed in cobalt blue and the plates were a copper or tan color it was hard to tell from the pictures. So how do I create my theme? What else can I use to create elegance/romance. Please keep in mind I will be flying to Ja so I am trying to keep all breakable objects to a minimum. I am open to all suggestions.

You have a good start on your tropical elegance theme already with the setting itself. You don't really need to add too much, just compliment the existing environment. Use your flowers to create your theme. You can mix high and low centerpieces. Use colored water or colorful stones in the vases. Here are a couple pics I located on ideas from other brides:

I love how the aisle is decorated in the first pic.

I REALLY love the first aisle too. Are those flower petals in the heart and along side of the runner?

Love lights even the darkest of paths.
What Fire doesn't destroy, only makes stronger.
Even when you don't know; God knows. I will be still and let Him do His thing.
Alone in the world; but always in the company of the Lord.
