are you ladies going to have your entire wedding party sitting with you or will you have a sweetheart's table with just you & FH and the wedding party all sitting together? my coordinator posed this question to me about the sweetheart table and I am not sure if I want it--what are your thoughts?

It all depends on what you want. I have attended wedings that had both a "sweetheart table" and another where the bride and groom sat with the bridal party. I will say ( and this is ONLY my opinion ) that the couples seated at the "sweetheart table" seemed more distant. Where as the couple that sat with their bridal party seemed more a part of the festivities. I feel that sitting with your bridal party makes the reception more personable ( if that would be the right word ),because you are coming TOGETHER to celebrate your marriage with all of the people that you love....Again this is only my opinion. Maybe others feel differently.
We're doing a sweetheart table for two. The only other 2 reserved tables we have are one for the wedding party and one for the parents and grandparents

I asked for a sweet heart table but they put the head of our families and our children next to us which wasn't so bad. Then they follwed the seating chart for the most part.

I want to have the wedding party at the same table with us.

I think it depends on the set-up of the room. At one venue we considered we would have to do a sweetheart table because of the way the dance floor is set up. There is only room to have a circular or 6ft rectagular table for a head table. At another venue, we could have either because the tables are kind of in a circle framing the dance floor.
I myself am stumped by this question. However I am stongly leaning towards the entire bridal party sitting togethor.

I want to sit with my bridal party.
Real love requires a minimum of emotion and a maximum of the will - Bishop Keith W. Reed, Sr.
They are going to sit with us. The little people in the bridal party will have their own table.

i am leaning more towards the entire party also. FH and I will have the rest of the night and the following week on our HM to revel in the wedding memories. reception time will be about fellowship, food & fun so the wedding party can sit together during dinner because after the cake cutting it is PARTY TIME!! :)
thanks ladies for your input!
i agree i don't want us to be isolated, it's all about unity even with family. i'm not even putting down place cards, i just want people to sit wherever they want, who knows, they may met someone special that way.
