shoes

ladies, my colors are pistachio/clover/silver. My BM's are wearing pistachio with silver accessories, my dress is ivory-debating if I should get ivory shoes (that I will probably wear 1 time) versus silver-any thoughts?
I have tried to post the picture of the shoe I am considering but can't get it to work :(

Re: shoes

Well, I am also wearing an ivory gown. My colors are Victorian lilac and Celadon green, and my BMs will be wearing a clear/silver sandal with silver accessories. I chose the shoe for the same reason, so that they will have the opportunity to wear the shoes again. I however, have decided to wear an ivory shoe with my ivory gown. Does your gown have silver accent in it? If so, the silver shoe will be fine, but if your gown doesn't have silver in it, the ivory will probably look better! I haven't purchased my shoes yet, but here is a picture of the shoe (in white) that I really like and will most likely purchase! Good luck!

Cute shoes Tiffy. soon2bmsj I agree with Tiffy - if the dress doesn't have any silver go with ivory shoes. You can buy dyeables and have them dyed black after the wedding.

Re: shoes

Welcome Ona and congratulations !!

Nice shoes Tiffy. Please remember to purchase your shoes before going for your initial fitting. That way your hem to hollow measurements will be accurate with heel height.

Re: shoes

Thanks ladies. Welcome to the site ona! Soon2bmsj, I have a photobucket account, and from here i am able to post photos. If you have one, just post your picture on the photobucket site, and several url addresses will automatically post under the photo. Just copy the IMG code and paste it right here, and the image should show up. The photobucket account is free, and this is the only way I know how to post pics. Maybe someone else knows of another way! Hope this helps!

Pamcrow, thanks for the advice about buying the shoes before my first fitting. I definitely plan to do that. I'll probably go for my first fitting in November, and I plan to purchase my shoes next time I go up to Atl, which will be next weekend!
