I looked a the site and feel in love with a couple of rings too. I went to BBB and they rated as a B company with 2 of 5 stars and 1 of 3 customer reviews favorable. You may be taking a chance. Pray on it first.

Taunyana you may be taking a chance on that one, however, check their standings with BBB and if you feel okay after both you and your FH has prayed about it, then I would say go for it. Also, you may want to go to the mall and check out Kay jewelers, they have some great rings that are very affordable as well and they're very reputable.
I plan on printing out the rings that interested me and taking them to the local jewelers and seeing if they sell it, can find it or order it. It is much like looking at bridal magazines, picking a dress, and then finding where you can purchase it locally.
Has anyone heard or dealt with bridalonlinestore.com? They have a dress that style I love; but locally simular dresses are 5x the price.

I purchased my dress from bridalonlinestore.com and I'm pleased with it. I can't wait to wear it for my special day! Check it out on the "Platinumstyle's Postponement-Again" topic to see it. The only difference is I added spagetti straps to it. By the way, the customer service rep was very helpful. I would recommend them for online purchases.

I've purchased jewelry online, and I plan to get my FH ring from bluenile.com. A doctor that I work for purchased his wife's engagement ring from them and had it delovered to the office. It was beautiful. They even have the design your own ring option.

Taunyana,
Great to hear from you again. Just make sure you get all the lifetime warranties that you need, especially on the stones, and the repairs. With the online stores, you do miss out on that face-to-face time and hands on and the trying on you get in the stores..(Unless you can walk in the same store you bought in online at).
For me, I like to see it first, and be able to walk out with it. But its good you're taking those extra precautions:) Let us know what you ended up picking....
We've been Happily Married 2 Years and Counting:)

My engagement ring was purchased at zales and my wedding band will be purchased there as well. I have a lifetime warranty on the ring. That means when I need it dipped and the diamonds checked and cleaned I can take it to anyone I want as long as I have the paper work on my ring. So its very convenient.
Hey Taunyana!!!! My wedding band was purchased on line. We didn't have any problems whatsoever. Our wedding bands have our vows inscribed in them. We bought them from www.weddingvowrings.com. I learned about the site right here on the vibride website. You can also follow the advice of the sisters here and check the BBB. Good luck and let us know what you decided on.
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
I myself have a ring from zales, However I personally think there rings are over priced. I have seen rings from diffrent jewelers who are better detailed and who are cheaper. I would first purchase something on that website like a necklace or studded earrings to see how the service is and the quality of the jewelry. If you like the product and the service then I say you should consider purchasing your rings there.

Hey Taunyana. See I wasn't the only one who missed ya! That is great advice, housewife147! It really pays to test things out especially jewelry. Try Ross-Simmons. I just bought from them again for their ongoing sale that ends next week. I am a big fan of the funky style of jewelry they carry.
Oh there is a 15% off coupon code that isn't published when you order under $100. Use Code ROSSAFF
MERRY CHRISTMAS! lol

Ahh Rosie, you are a woman after my own heart talking abt Christmas in October...I was singing carols in June!!
We decided to forgo the sketchy website and were pleasantly surprised to find some stuff we really like at Walmart. So we're looking at more traditional brick and mortar stores as opposed to taking a plunge online.
I appreciate everyone's input.

Belated anniversary Taunyana... hope you and your hubby have many more. Don't let people dictate to you about when to have kids, thats a decision for you and your DH to make.
All my friends (married and unmarried) have kids and they are always going on about how my clock is ticking & that I need to give FH a child before its too late. Well, my answer has always been that my & FH's plans rest with God.
PS: Taunyana sounds suspiciously like the South Sotho (one of the nations in RSA) name for a lion cub - is it related?
