Ladies, I wanted to share my thoughts with you on something. Lately, I felt a need to get much closer to God. I've been praying a lot, reading my bible, and listening to the "word" on the radio. I told my FH recently that I felt that he was being "called" to the ministry last month. He smiled and said "Oh lord, not you too". Meaning, that he's heard this before (he just never told me). Then, about two weeks ago, I believe I have experienced a "calling" myself. However, I feel that my "calling" is different. With this in mind, I have decided to find an online bible college so we can seek further education into bibical studies. I'm considering working on becoming a christian counselor. I would like to minister/counsel abused women, teens, and inmates (and their families) in correctional facilities. We would also try to start programs like housing & job placement, drug, alcohol, and spiritual counselling. Ladies, please pray for us!

I think it is great; when the Holy spirit speaks to u-God is pleased when we r obedient!by not doing so, u could possibly miss ur blessing or the opportinity to bless someone else. :) Continue to pray on ur decision and I wish u and ur FH much peace and happiness!!
Praise God! My FH is currently enrolled in theological studies and I have decided to get my continiing education credits in Christian Counseling from the American Association of Christian Counseling in partnership with Lighthouse University. God Bless You in ALL your undertakings.

That's awesome, for only what you do for Christ will last. For this journey remember to put on the full armour of God. I'll pray for your strength as you transition unto your next level. Remember that although you may lose some friends along the way, no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

That's right, glorify Him girl!!! Follow what He has put on your heart, and with the both of you doing it together, oooohhh what a ministry that will be!!!
Thank you Ladies! Keep us in your prayers! Pamcrow, you're right. We will lose friends along the way. This week, I had a bit of drama ( he said, she said.whatever.) but, it's amazing that the more you try to avoid negativity, the more people try to keep it coming.

Answer your calling sweetie. It's your time. The more he continues to work on me, the closer I get in tuned with my spirituality. Its so pleasant sitting back and let him do his work. I have finally come to realize that I don't have control over ANYTHING. Once I realized that, I opened myself up to him wholeheartedly.
CONGRATS!!!!! I am a minister and you know when you have been called. I know you and your FH will be blessed and highly favored!!!
