6-month mark

Yay! Praises to God!

Today marks 6-months for me and my husband! I can't even believe it....A year ago I had been engaged for 3 months and I had yet to even order my wedding dress....Life moves so fast when you are living, and loving it! Sure we have already wanted to choke each other out, but today that doesn't matter. Neither did some of those moments when we wanted to quit or elope at about this time a year ago either.......Right now we are enjoying our Labor Day, watching Sports Center together chilling on the couch, while I check in on my vibrides-then I had just realized it. We gave each a high-five and a quick kiss....we will probably toast it over a nice drink when we Barbeque later...

Upcoming brides: Enjoy and cherish every second of the planning period as possible...When its said and done, its only a few hours of ONE DAY. You still have LIFE to LIVE after that-one day at a time....How you chose to live everyday with your new husband or future mate determines the next day and the next forever...The beauty of God's grace is that everyday you can start anew. You may go to bed mad at each other (I learned to face reality very early after we married), and if thats the case, when you pray that night, pray you both can at least wake up to make up, with a determination for one of you to do so (especially since the next day is NOT guaranteed)....Sometimes you really will have to sleep on it, but you have to decide that you will work to do better on a new day....

Re: 6-month mark

That as some great advice. No one is promised tomorrow.
I heard this awsome quote that I thought I'd share...Yesturday is the past, tomorrow is the future, but today is a gift that's why it's called the present. God Bless!!

All things worked together for my good...
