Okay, I guess it's about time that I start my blog. What have I been waiting on? I don't know. But what I do know is this.....
.....my wedding is 3 weeks from tomorrow (this just hit me) and I'm so nervous and very stressed. I don't know how some people that either had their wedding or who's close to their wedding isn't going through stress. Unless, I'm just that type of person. I'm nervous because I want everything to go how I want it to. And I'm stressed because I still have sooooo much to do.
I still have to
- Get my programs together
- Finish my favors
- Iron the chair sashes
- Make my centerpieces
- Create my seating chart
- And more things...
I'm getting a bigger headache so I have to stop. I have 1 more week before the venues have to paid off. I think once that's done, I'll be less stressed.
I have to go back for my other fitting next week. Oh, and btw, my veil is being shipped to me today!!!!! I'm happy about that. None of the guys have gone for their fittings yet, besides my son and FH. I'm pissed with the men anyway 'cause they STILL haven't given FH a bachelor party! What are they waiting for???? If I had the money, I'd throw it for him myself! Trifling, I tell you.
My planning was halted over the last week because my uncle unexpectantly passed away last Friday and the services were this week. I was totally NOT thinking about anything regarding the wedding. I did manage to pay off the florist yesterday. And I finalized everything with my DJ yesterday! That's 2 things I can cross of the list!
All you soon come brides are in my prayers. Get some help girl - delegate that stuff! Make sure you have some me time in these weeks leading up to your day!
Sorry about the loss of your uncle. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most stress time.
Hopefully you can rally up your MOH & BMs to help with tour To Do List. Assign one to iron sashes, another to work on favors, another centerpieces, you focus on program & seating chart. Don't forget to use my clothes pin tip to help with that. Trust me, it makes it so much easier.

So very sorry about the loss of your uncle. I agree with the ladies, you must delegate some things in order to feel less stressed and create some precious me time. You're doing very well girl, just don't forget to breathe, very slowly.

I am having a gathering at my home on Saturday to get most of these things done. Hopefully, mostly everything will be knocked out by then.
Well, time is mooooooooving...I only have 11 days left and I still have soooooooooo much to do. I did get a lot done with the centerpieces, but I still have to finalize my seating chart and order my wedding programs. Where am I going to order these from in such short notice? I have no clue. Tonight is my final counseling session, which I'm not happy about because I really love it! I want to continue this counseling - maybe once a month after the wedding. Is it just me or is this stuff overwhelming??? I cannot wait to be on the plane going on my honeymoon.
Some reliever are:
- I paid off the venue
- All but one guy has gotten fitted
- My veil came in and I am LOVING it!
- I had my final fitting on Thursday
- I paid the deposit for the salon to shut down the morning of my wedding
- I paid off the photographer/videographer/Limo
The good thing is you are mooooving with the time. You have so much done! I give you 4-6 days to finish the remaining tasks - then you have to rest and relax - that's an order!
That is wonderful news, and i am so glad you have knocked some many things off your list. But besides the wedding stuff, HOW ARE YOU DOING?

House, I'm doing okay I guess. Oh, did I mention to you ladies (this may be TMI) but I got my period on Monday!!!!!!!! I was really, really nervous because with all of this stress, I haven't had one since July (and with my luck, it would've came the day of the wedding). I prayed on it on Saturday and 2 days later, there it was! I'm so happy.
But, I'm upset again because I ordered my favor tags last week and the postal service said they were delivered yesterday, but I never received them! :-( I'm so upset because now, I have to order new ones which means paying for them again. :-(

We're they sent with a signature requiement? If so the post office should be able to track it. If not between the post office and the vendor they need to get you out more via rush order at no additional cost. The vendor should have sent the package insured.
mrsmoose, yes, she's closing the shop down until noon - by then everyone's hair should be done. :-)
Future, there was no signature required. I'm trying to work something out with her now.

Well, I know have 5 days to go and I still feel like I'm running around with my head cut off! I did manage to get some things accomplished this weekend, but I still have a lot more to do. I still need to burn more CD's and stuff them. I also still need to do programs.
Can y'all believe last night FH asked if he can add 3 more people? Mind you, I've been asking him over the last month, are you sure you have everyone? And his answer has always been no. Well, being that I love him dearly, he will add 3 more people. Besides, I feel so bad that my list is 75% of the list.
Oh, I have to start a new topic about something. Anyhoo, I ended up spending $600 yesterday on a camcorder for the wedding. It's going to take the videographer too long to get me my tape & I need to see something that same night/next day the latest. lol I thought FH was goign to be upset, but he wasn't - he's always wanted a new camcorder.
