Ooh y'all it was soooo beautiful!!!! The weather was perfect! My boo played his bass guitar with the other musicians as the soloist sang "Inseparable" as his surpirse to me while I walked down!!!!! I was so excited! My photographer will have the pics ready for me tomorrow (yay), and as soon as I get them, I will post them. Thanks girls!
Okay, I have a few pics that my photographer put up on her slide show. My pics are the first few. More are to come!http://www.slide.com/r/a4Q20D034D_peO0Vb6ooC3zcnukGTDp_?previous_view=lt_embedded_url
Ok, I am so mad! My computer is on the fritz and I am at the stupid library on the computer so I can't post my pics until the guy comes to fix my computer. But here are the details.......
The day was gorgeous, the weather was 85 degrees. I got up at 5 to get my hair done at 6 and I was running from there. My mistake was letting my husband talk me into letting him help me with last minute details and then he was no where to be found, but that is another topic. I was an hour late getting to the church, we were supposed to be there at 1 but I got there around 2 (shame on me). The wedding was supposed to start at 4 but my mother in law got stuck in traffic behind an accident and got to the church about 5 after, so the wedding started at about 4:10ish. The wedding party walked down to Beautiful to Me by Darwin Hobbs. The guys walked down one aisle and the girls down the other at the same time. The guys held the girls bouquets behind their backs and presented them to the girls at the front of the church, they then crossed each other and got into their spots. The maid of honor followed after the couples got up front. Then we had the jr bride and groom. When they got to the front, the jr groom lifted the jr bride's veil, they hugged, and then got into their respective places also. THEN came the flower girls!!!! One was counting the petals while the other one was stopping for pictures, which people said was too hilarious!
I walked down to Inseparable while my husband played his bass with the band, I lost all my mind when I saw that. I was a crying fool! The pastor, who is also my husband's friend, was there 10 years ago as our witness, and told the congregation about it, which was a nice touch. He also did the ceremony different, which I loved!!!!! He had us stand palm to palm while he told us what we had grown to be within these past 10 years and I started the waterworks back up, it was a mess!
But the best part was when the ring appeared, I almost hit the floor! I didn't expect my husband to go all out, because I thought after 10 years I knew him oh too well, but I was very pleasantly surprised! He went beyond my greatest expectations! That made all the drama and stress worthwile in that moment.
The girls were gorgeous and the guys were handsome. The colors were perfect and everything went so well. Even after my printer ran out of ink, and the church secretary had to make the "printer paper" programs, and the cake topper broke into a million pieces and we had to use some flowers that were at the hall laying around, everything else was a breeze. God was truly in control, do y'all hear me!?! Oh and speaking of that, we had a mime dancer who danced off of Seasons by Donald Lawrence. She danced after the pastor spoke and before the lighting of the unity candle. She laid it out so tough y'all that you could hear people getting with it! People were saying "alright now", and raising their hands. On the dvd, I was looking like I was on MY way in!!!!!!!!!!! It was just an awesome time all together. Oh and when I get my computer fixed the pics will be up!
tdankel, that sounds absolutly, 100% amazing. I was picturing it in my head. I love the creativity, and the special touches you two added that made it unique to you two. I especially love how you had the bridal party make their entrance! I may 'borrow' a variation of that for my own wedding(i'll see)
But my goodness I can't wait for pictures to see how it all played out visually! Congrats, again!!!
Your day sounds amazing! And its always nice to have extra bling! Girl I'm all excited to see pics now! I may need to drive to Toledo to fix your computer myself! LOL!
Ok so I'm super late, but YIPPEE! CONGRATS! HOORAY! May your life continue to be blessed. How super cool that he actually played your wedding march for you. Very original.

I hope you don't mind me "borrowing" either, that concept is absolutely perfect for the way my church is set up. It sounds like you had a beautiful day
