Beautiful....
Girls, just had a thought: don't forget you will be wearing your beautiful, sexy shoes for about 6 hours. If your ceremony is more than 30-45 minutes, then standing to take 45 mins worth of pictures (more if you do pics before), and then dancing....And as much as its easy to say i'll take my shoes and change them, sometimes we forget, and it doesn't hit you until much much later.....just some food for thought!
I'd have to see your dress, Future. Honestly, they seem a little inappropriate for a wedding but perfect for the bachelorette party or clubbing on your honeymoon, BTJM (but that's just me). Take it with a grain of salt and do your thing, girl. I still want a pair in my closet to wear with my Freakum Dress.
Musikana, I don't think they're inappropriate at all!!! They might be for her bridesmaids, but either way, if her feet can handle the stress, I think that they are showstoppers!!!!!!! FMKU, who's shoes are these, yours or your bridesmaids?
Thanks for the opinions ladies! They are for me (but my MOH and mother want them also)! FH is 6'6 and I am 5'2 (and 1/2 lol) so I know I'm wearing a 3-4" heel.
I have been breaking in my mama's shoes since I was 10 and heels are a regular part of my wardrobe. I'll have to see how comfortable these are though. The pair I wore in my MOH's wedding were 3" and I had them on all night (5-11), dancing and all, and 7 months pregnant! Hope I can do the same in these but I do have a back-up pair of slings!
Pamcrow it is a strech fabric.
Musik, my dress is in the beauty forum under "KeepUp's Dress."
I see you guys opinion...I will say that if the dress is long (I will check the post in a sec to see your dress, people won't see it-o you won't have to worry about offending anyone-if that even matters to you.......I guess thats why I went with a plainer shoe, cause my dress was so huge. I sometimes wish I had gone as sexy as my BM's shoes were, but my feet were very happy in the end....If you can get him to (and if you're not too tired or too "worked up" to remember) rub your feet after the wedding, then hey.....work them shoes honey! They are totally beautiful....I can't imagine a particular shoe being inappropriate unless it plain out doesn't fit your foot, or you cannot walk in it...Shoot, I even pondered wearing some tiffany blue stiletos under my dress just because I can-and its sexy to see when you do the garter toss (and it was my wedding color)....but, like I said, my feet's health come first:! But thats Bumble though:)
Please believe if they hurt they will not be worn! My father is a stickler for feet ("they have to support you the rest of your life!") so I have always made sure mine are on point. No corns, bunoins, etc! If that means I have to pass on some drop dead gorgeous but drop dead from foot pain shoes - so be it!
Good idea but here is the hitch: They may not start hurting until way later in the day.....Cause the trying on and walking in them may not be bad...I know, my SIL wedding, we bridesmaids were in 4 inch heels like those except for 2 skinny little straps one at the bottom, and the other that wrapped around the ankle.....they were fine in practice, etc, then with a broken AC in the church, sweat, 100 degreesin tallahassee, 6 hours standing, sitting, all I could do was beg hubby for a foot rub when I got home, even though we ended up still grabbing th flip=flops. My SIL forgot her flips and does not do the bare-foot thing (she's a little prissy, she's cool though), but I hope my brother gave that poor child a footrub cause she was in pain at then end! So even if they feel fine at first, remember to have the back-up plan in place:)

When I get a new pair of stilettos I put on shoes and do my housework which takes at least 2 hours. By then I usually no if there will be a problem later. FH loves me in stilettos so he already knows he has to nurse the babies if he wants me in them!

Just out of curiousity Musik, what makes the shoe inappropriate IYO? The heel? The style?

For me, the style is beautiful but the height of the heel and the buckle don't scream "Beautiful Bride!". IMO, they scream "I'm trying to be sexy!". It's already your day, you are the undeniable center of attention, the shoes seem over the top. I don't think they match the beauty and elegance of your dress, I hope i didn't offend . . .
I don't think that you offended..she did ask for our opinions. I just hope that she goes with the shoe, me personally! I am picturing her when the garter comes off with that bad a** shoe on!! :)
No I wasn't offended Musik, was just wondering. Like I said before I definitely need the height on the heel. I KNOW I'm buying the shoe (as well as a few others) but won't make the final decision until my dress comes in and I do a comfort check!
tdankel, I was just talking to my MH about that shot! She asked if he would be able to contain himself when he sees them!
So I was a little excited and ordered the shoe, though me dress won't be in until November.
The shoe is just as cute in person as it is online. However, I will not be wearing it with the dress. It won't go as well as I'd like it to. The comfort factor: the bottom is actually fine, it's the part by the toe that's a little tight. On the up side, I will definitely be wearing them with a couple choice outfits I already own!
Hi everyone...im new to this site..but that shoe caught my eye...LOL
Girl that shoe is nice. I would definitly wear that. Personally im not going for the cinderella look at my wedding...I want more of a sexy look and that shoe screams whatever you want it to scream. I say if the heal doesnt bother you at all...Work the shoe!!!!
Did you find that online?

What do you ladies think about this shoe. I was thinking about getting them to wear with my reception dress.

those shoes are off the chain! completely goregous! I swear if FH were just a little bit taller I'd be all in one of those shoes! I think the blue shoe would be nice for something blue.
Those are great choices, MrsKeepUp and House. I personally won't be wearing a stillettos. FH is 6'2" and I'm 6'0. I also have a metal plate and 7 screws in my right ankle (from a car accident) so wearing heels like that can be painful if I have to wear them for an extended period of time. IMO, if you can stand it, go for it!
well I could rock the shoe-FH is 6"0 and I am 5"4 BUT my feet would not be able to stand it--plus how will I be able to do the cupid shuffle in that shoe and still be cute??? LOL

wow, I really really like them. Good choice, and you know I'm loving the color. Is it for you or BM'S?
Beautiful....

Very nice, just keep bumblebee's advice in mind. Is that braided leather or fabric?

Man if FH was taller I'd be ALL IN that shoe. That is sharp! And I love that you can wear them even after the wedding.

Just don't fall over like she did. I saw her take a wicked tumble, head OVER heels in a clip on Y.T. it was a sight to see!
Yeah she took a fall, but homegirl is a true diva, she got right back up and didnt miss a beat.
