I'm back again... after talking to the florist, gosh I love her, she came up with this idea for flowers for the pew cones...

Those are pretty. A nice twist to the regular pew bows. May have to borrow this!

Thank you ladies! These will go on every three rows. I figured that I need 14 of them. I did have a pic of them on the acutal pew but FI deleted it...boooo... I still love him though!

So does anyone have any interesting ideas on how to decorate the pews aside from using pew bows? I see the idea here for the pew cones and roses, which is a really nice idea, just not sure I want to pay the additional cost for the flowers. So what is everyone else thinking of doing for pew decorations? I would like something unique, just haven't found anything yet.

I am going to have brooms (symbolizing jumping the broom) decorating every other pew-

actually I am having them made; they will not be the regular jumping broom size but about half the size of the jumping broom

Hi - I actually got mine from another girl on a different site, but if you search for pewcones you should find them. In fact my florist loved mine so, she brought them!!! If I still had them, I would be willing to sell them to you.
Have you tried looking in stores like Hobby Lobby or Michael's? They may sell them at these stores. Or, if you're into DIY projects, they really don't look that hard to make. You can also talk to the folks in the floral department at Michael's. They should be able to help you with this.

Thanks ladies. I am into DIY projects, I just have to see how much time I will have. But you are right platinumstyle, they really don't look that difficult to make. I'll search for pew cones online to see what I come up with.
