For Better or for Worse Jan. 7th show

Did anybody see this show? It was hilarious! The bride and groom and their "teams" tried to do everything themselves- unfortunately they didn't know how to bake a cake, sew the table coverings or choose a band that would show up. And where were the 65 guests? How could they ALL have been late? My hat is off to this couple - they pulled it off, but I would have been hysterical (and not with laughter, either!)

Just saw the second show last night- I can't believe how calm and flexible these couples are! The bride did not want an Asian theme, the ceremony was held at a Japanese resturant. The groom's only real wish was for an informal outfit - they rented him a tux.(Although he did rebel by wearing his white tennis shoes!) Are they really this good-natured or was there a heap of footage cut out?

It's on TLC. A wedding planner/designer and a few of the couple's friends & family plan a wedding for them on a $5000 budget. The bride and groom don't get to see what has been chosen for them until they get to the wedding.

The show airs on TLC wednesdays at 9:00PM. It is a great way to get low cost ideas for your own weddings. I suggest you all wacth it often!
