Yeah I like the hair gallery on our site. tons of hair ideas. It is hard to find phoitos of black brides. what's up with that??? Could you guys send yourwedding hair choices or something? you can post them here.
Yes please send them picture cause while I like that style posted, I do not like paths in the front of my head...face too big and I do not want to look like that coconut cartoon that is on Saturday mornings (I think his name is Coconut Joe)

I've seen a nice little wave of black brides & maid in my bridal mags, lately. But all of them wear their hair in the regular flat wrap (straight down). The other black hair sites I visit, don't let you "copy" their images.

You may need to check out of the hair style magazine sold in your local beauty supply store.They are usually more expensive ($10-$15)but they have really good hair styles.The ones sold in Walmart or grocery stores usually feature the same old styles.Hair Designs Magazine features many Black hair stylists and their styles.Many of the styles are suitable for weddings and other special occasions.
Great idea platinumstyle. I have the worst luck with hairdressers. Sometimes I look like a movie star and other times I look like my mama at a church convention for women over 60! Last hairdo my hubby actually said," I hope you didn't PAY for that." Sometimes I could kill him! lol

Anyway, I am going against what everyone is telling me and I will get married with microbraids. I will most likely do a half up/half down style. I refuse to have to think about hair on my honeymoon. So braids it is.:)

ain't NOTHING wrong with microbraids....I'm getting them also for my wedding...and they can be absolutely gorgeous if you get them styled just right....We are going to Jamaica on that monday and I'm like you...I do not plan on worrying about my hair in that heat...

One option is to have your beautician add weave to your hair so you will have enough for an upstyle.
