I'm probably what some people would csll afro centric, so I really don't want your average plain strapless gown with the average veil or teirra, not that theres anything wrong with that, its just not me. Anyway, I want something a little funky, stylish, and ethnic/afrocentric without being OVER KILL. I dont want a dishiekie...sp??? Can somebody please help a sista out? I've already been to Thereza Fleetwoods website.

You are too much! LOL I felt exactly the same way. THat is why I got this site in the first place. Try www.cassandrabromfield.com. Her dresses are awesome and they don't look over the top. I feature different african american gown designers on the front page. I will try to get a more afrocentric and not African wear gown. I think you will like her stuff. Tell her vibride set ya!

WOW thanks for the site Rosetta. Love the patchwork gown. I have to make it a point to be at the bridal show featuring her gowns so I can see it up close. They have that subtle afro-centric look. Thanks
