Invitations

I was thinking about doing the invitations myself, because I am really having a hard time finding ones I like but I don't know where to get the paper from to do it myself. My colors are burnt orange and amethyst.

Re: Invitations

First off those colors ROCK! But consider: When doing it yourself keep all costs in mind. I can't tell you how many brides have come into my shop with a mere 4 weeks to go on their wedding and want to get invites printed because their office max invites came out all weird. LOL Also sometimes they can cost MORE than getting them printed. Keep in mind time and aggravation costs as well. Doing your favors 12 hours before you start your reception can make for a very harried wedding day! Love you guys and Good luck!

Re: Invitations

I did some invitations for a friend that came of fabulous. Her colors were ivory and coral. I used vellum to print the invitation, ivory linen paper behind the vellum, punched two holes at the top and put coral satin bow on it. Simple but elegant.

Re: Invitations

Consider blank ones that are a better quality. I found really cute invites that are pretty inexpensive at Vibride Wedding Mall. They have a great selection. If you have not chosen yet go have a look. Of course you can get all of our invites blank and print them yourself. Top Quality Wedding Invitations & supplies.

Re: Invitations

Honey404, actully you don't include where you're register in with the invitations. It should be a word of mouth thing, you parents and bridal party should spread the word. However some place that you register send out postcards for you if you provide a guest list.
