Gifts For Guests

We are planning on playing a game with the guests at the reception. What would be some good(inexpensive/pretty) gifts to give to the guests? I will need at least 10.

Re: Gifts For Guests

Burn 10 cd's of music that will be played a your reception (about 5-8 songs per cd, go to one of the wholesale clubs (sam's or costco), pick up a few bottles of wine, sparkling cider, asti spumante, cognac. Go to nice discount store and find glasses to go with each bottle. I found cute brandy snifters, flutes, and wine glasses at a dollar store.

Re: Gifts For Guests

I am already doing the CD thing:) I love the wine and glass idea. Thanks. I also want to by gift for someone who has become a very good friend of mine. She is organizing my shower for me and has simply been very supportive of me throughout. I don't have a bridal party so she is like my unoffical maid of honor. She also went with me to try on wedding gowns. I have no idea what to give her! We basically have the same taste which makes it a little harder because I am being so indecisive. I love everything I see. Help!

Maybe y.ou could treat your friend to a manicure and pedicure. They aren't horribly expensive and that is a way to say thank you for all of the hard work. Women really appreciate the pampering. Or, maybe you could make her a basket of different lotions, bath salts etc. That would be less expensive

Re: Gifts For Guests

I was at a wedding recently and they played games with the guests. The centerpeices at each table were given away as the gifts to the game winners. I thought this was a great idea, and excellent when it came to cleaning up afterwards. Oh yes, the centerpeices were pillar candles that had been hot glued on very pretty "plates" they had some sort of sparkles sprayed on them and a ribbons attached with the Bride and Groom's name and wedding date.

Nice to see you again, jasnigel! I really love the ceterpiecce idea. People all gawk at them and I know there is a lot of wondering if they can take them homne, etc going on at the reception. I am also super fond of the gift bazkets as ceterpieces or a gift table so that they can be admired then even actioned off as a fun game to get cash for the honeymoon. Check out this site for centerpiece and gift ideas under $10.
