Hold your son while you light the unity candle, have a sweetheart table (or family circle table)at the reception and have him sit with you and your hubby.
There is a Family Unity Candle that you can purchase from rexcraft.com. It would have all three of your names on it and like sassymommie37 said hold your son when you light it. At the reception take him with you when you greet you gsts.
We had the family unity candle, but we had to light in without our children. Both of them had fallen asleep and were being held by family members. lol So my hubby and I explained what the candle said to our guest and told them what was supposed to happen, with a 2yr and 3 yr old you never can tell what they're going to do.
