rehearsal dinner

do i have any input into the rehearsal dinner plans of my new in-laws? i want my mother-in-law to feel at ease, and not feel as if i am dictating what she is to do...in part b/c my mom, sis and i will have essentially made all other decisions regarding the wedding. :-)....please advise.

Re: rehearsal dinner

Hi Sevans5108,
What you can do is say to her, this is what we have done already...let her look over the plans or you discuss with her and say "what do u think?"...I am sure she will not make any changes b/c all the plans would have been completed but it will give her a sense of belonging. Thats worth more than gold for her to feel that you think of her important enough to include her.
Kinda reverse psychology if u know what I mean (wink wink)

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Great advice Charley. Sevan, you really need to let them do what THEY want. It essentially is THIER party-- not an extension of yours. I am sure it will be beautiful.
