My Fiance lives in Malaysia and I am in the Bahamas. He plans on relocating but the process is taking so long. We plan on marrying next year and I am beginning to make plans but I miss him so much...How do you deal with the lonliness. I have read other issues from brides and I am glad to have found this site, but there is still a void. Can anyone give me some advise on how to deal with the seperation. And for reason or the other when you are waiting, the days just seem soooo long. Help!

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
Pray, read, and stay busy.
Mine was too. We had a long distance relationship for three years and one year engaged apart. E-mail was not an option in those days. Our phone bill was devastatingly high.
What we did:
You are going to miss him. Period. But, you can find little ways to keep him with you.

That is so sweet. Love letters are wonderful, and no matter how many you get, they make you float.(yes, I'm sappy) Happy to be Sappy!LOL Remember the note we used to send to the boys we crushed on in grade school, with personal artwork. I bet he'd like to get one of those. :) When and where is the wedding again?
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
I really really appreciate all the input. Gerri, you better believe I am praying, Rosetta, I particularly like the idea of a tape message. Phonemonique.....boy do I remember those days ahhhhhh!
I love this site, now instead of me sitting behind my desk day dreaming and feeling upset from the void, I can log on and basically communicate with my sisters. Thanks all so much for your good words. By the way.....October 2006 looks like a good month but it is not final, so I will keep you informed. Thanks again.
