Just wanted to vent for a minute. Although I am appreciating suggestions and ideas from friends and family; sometimes it seems like their trying to mold me into some other image. Yes, you liked something you saw at another event....but that doesn't mean I want it. Ok, so you liked or didn't like someone else's dress, hair, or decorations. BUT IT'S NOT ME!!!! I still have 9 more months left of planning and my fiance and I want this to be OUR event. Not some carbon copy of someone or something else.

Everyone gets so excited and want to tell you about their wedding and other weddings, that they don't realize sometimes that this day is your own and you will have it how YOU like it.
