Welcome, Whistplaya! It is YOUR day! Better than mint green poofy dresses! Do what makes you happy. A great rule of thumb is, "Will I love my wedding pics 10 years from now?" DO you want dated pictures or something that someone else insisted on but you hate? Be true to yourself.

Re: Animal Print / Safari Theme

It sounds like you have to rethink your bridemaids...they are suppose to be your very special friends that is why I assume you asked them to stand and if such is the case, and they know this is your big day, they should have no problem dressing up in large fruit customs if that is what you want. It is your day...they are either with you, wear what you request and love being in it or you decide if they should really be in the wedding. Weddings are a lot of stress and the last thing you need is disgusting bridesmaid.

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Animal print..that's different, but fun. Do what makes you happy. Your bridesmaids will conform to your choice if it's tasteful. Animal print is sensual and sexy. Maybe it's just me but I would be down for that. Some sexy safari print shoes a sexy dress, and animal print lingerie for my own personal 'reception' afterwards. LOL!!! So which animal print do you want to use?

Re: Animal Print / Safari Theme

Actually, I saw a picture once of 3 ladies standing side by side. I believe it was in a pattern book. But all four ladies had the base color of black. Although each girl had a different animal sache around the waist, they all blended well together. The gowns were formal and stunning. The animal prints were subtle, one had a zebra sache, the other had a leopard sache, and the last had a giraffe sache. I've been trying since to find that picture to show my BM's and can't. If that idea proves to be too much, then i'll just pick one print for all the girls and put the other two prints somewhere else.

Another idea is to have their flowers wrapped in that print instead of having it in their attire. I haven't had anything made yet so these are just ideas for now.
