After refusing to go out with Barack for a month, Michelle agreed to spend the day with him. They went to the art institute, had lunch at an outdoor cafe, walked and talked, saw the movie Do the Right Thing, and had a drink on the 99th floor of the John Hancock building.

In a CNN interview with Suzanne Malveau, Michelle said "We clicked right away ... by the end of that date it was over ... I was sold."

Michelle and Barack's wedding ceremony was performed on October 18, 1992 by Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois.

It just goes to show what you could accomplish with a love that trenscend time. It's wonderful to find "the true love of your life". The Obamas showed us what it really should look like, just in case we don't know anymore. All I can say is "Wow".

Yes, I agree, it's evident that they are truly in love and respect and support each other 150% or else they would not have made it this far in their lives without scandals unlike the Clintons. The haters tried hard to come up with stuff, but they couldn't, and the Obamas are victorious. God doesn't like ugly.

I love these two! They are such an inspiration to couples all over the world! I was just watching their first dance at the inauguration ball and I think I know want "At Last" as our first dance! You can tell that Barack loves his wife....and vice versa! Ahhhhhhh!
