My Fiance would like to process down the aisle also, before me of course which I know it's untraditional, but no problem. Here's the problem he has all these crazy ideas of things he should do when processing down the aisle like walk down in a baseball cap halfway and at the halfway point his cousin will meet him and say"Man are you sure you're ready to crossover" and he will say "yes" and then take the baseball cap off and put on a more formal hat to symbolize the change he is making.I don't think anyone will think this is as funny as he seems too. My question is can you ladies think of a creative way for him to go down the aisle that is not so outrageous? Please I need help

Welcome excited1. Listen girl the fact that your FH is so involved is a blessing, sometimes we forget this is their day too and we take the spot light away from them. If he wants to do that, I do not see a problem with it...it is different and I am sure your guest will enjoy the presentation. When we give our lives to Christ, we become a new create, all things become new and so him using the hat to symbolize him becoming a new man..."A Married Man" is wonderful. He is showing that he is putting away all the things he use to do as a 'SINGLEMAN". If that is what he wants to do, support him and welcome the idea as uniquely his and original. The good thing about it is if you are embarrassed by it, at least you will still be in the limousine and you will not have to see it.....well at least not until after the honeymoon and you are sitting watching the video (lol) :-)
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
I happen to agree with CharlotteModebe. Your FH entrance may not be traditional, but if that is how he wants to express on that day of him making a transition into being a "husband" then let him. Your FH is trying to contribute his own idea into the wedding. I don't think people will see it as him being funny, but just his way of showing how he is makking a major step in his life. Like CharlotteModebe said, you can laugh about it later together by watching the video!!
Thanks everyone maybe I am making a bigger deal out of it than need be
I agree! Let him roll with it girl! I think it will be quite entertaining for guests. Those that know him probably understand that this goes right along with his personality. It's also a nice gesture between him and his cousin. Let me know how it turns out!!

OMIGOD!!! My guy, (bless his heart) wanted to do an African Warrior theme, where he comes down dressed in warrior garb then is "dressed" by his "attendees" in more formal wear to show his change to "husbandom".
I told him, "you don't want to get married, you want to put on a play". LOL I was excited that he wanted to symbolize the transition but gee. He also wanted to use fire (IN OUR HANDS) to symbolize our union.
LOLOLOLOL
Men! And they talk about us. Well I told him that this day we are supposed to be as relaxed as possible and that it would be impossible to be relaxed, if you can't remember extensive lines like that.
It's nice to know that my FH isn't the only one with an overactive imagination LOL
You ladies have some fabulous men......enjoy your days..Nikkitp..............that fire in the hands thing!...I DON'T THINK SO!, Fire and a Fabulous wedding dress is a difinite NO NO (LOL)

I know. I was so tickled...he was pondering chemicles that would make the fire estinguish right away and all sorts of things. Again. Men. :)
I think it's absolutely wonderful when men want to do something special on their wedding day. You ladies are so blessed! The best thing about getting married is that you can do things your way, you don't have to lock into tradition. Enjoy ladies!!!!!
