I think that age is fine. But does it really matter, I have seen older ring bearer, it really depends on what you want and your creativity.....Especially if your ring is as big as an apple you may want a few security guards as ring bearers (lol). Have fun with it...your choice!
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
I am with CharlotteModebe -- it is your choice and have fun. My husband and I had our three grandsons, ages 8, 4 and 2 as our ringbearers, and our grandaughters, ages 3 and 4 as flowergirls. They were so well behaved, no stage fright -- and that was without very much rehearsal.
I had a bride with a 32 year old ringbearer. It doesn't matter how old they are at all. People just think little kids are more cute. [LOL] I don't like small infants handling the rings. Horror stories abound! My niece actually removed the rings from the pillow and swallowed one. Kids will do the unexpected.
SWALLOWED THE RING ROSETTA.......oh my goodness, where was the reception, in the emergency room......[lol], but seriously I went to a wedding, where the little boy swang the pillow around and the ring went rolling...oh my

It is completely up to you. My nephew was just in a wedding in which he was the ringbearer and he is 11 years old. Needless to say, the wedding was fabulous, as I am sure yours will be also!!!!!!
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
What is the age limit for the ringbearer? I have a nephew who will be 7 when I get married and I am not sure if that's too old.....please advise.
That's a good age actually. He's at an age where he'll follow directions well.
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
