no its not to many but howerve the bigger the wedding party the more gifts you have to buy for the wedding. do you have a set budget? how many flowergirls and ringbearers will you have? how big is the whole wedding? you can have that many if you can afford to

Hi Shawn and welcome to the site! 12 is not too many. My cousin just got married in September and she had 15. There are times when you may want to include a large number of people because of the significance they have in your life. Always remember, it is your day, so do it your way!

You can have too much if they take away the attention from you. Try not to have your wedding party be such a large swatch of color that you get lost up at the altar.
I don't really have a set budget. I have 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer. There might be a junior bride and groom too, but I haven't decided yet. How much should a wedding for about 200 people or so cost? My bridesmaids are wearing lilic and my dress is white. I'm ordering my dress this weekend, but I not sure about the color of my girls dresses.
I think you budget should be set based on your financial situation. You should also take into consideration what type of wedding you will be having, formal vs. informal, etc. Once you do set a budget, it would be wise to do your research and shop around for the best prices. An informed consumer is the best consumer. My wedding is in 11/06 and I am doing that now. Good luck.
