Ladies, when is a good time to pass out the wedding favors. I have been to some receptions where they are given at the door as you walk in. I have also been to receptions where they place them at the table setting. And one I went to, the favors were passed out when you left. Any suggestions on something different?

Be Blessed.....
I've been to ceremonies where they place the favors at each guest's seat, give them to guests toward the end of the ceremony, or place the favors in at basket on a table. Depends on how you'd prefer to do it & what type of favor it is.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

It really depends on you and what you want. I have seem them placed on the table, I think this adds to the setting of the table and the guests have something special to look forward to receiving esp. if they are wrapped.

Thanks ladies...I will keep all those ideas in mind...
Be Blessed.....
I will be placing my favors on the table. This way when people are ready to leave they can, without having a line form (I've seen that happen). However, Laneirh, it is clearly up to you. Good luck!

Rhoda are you saying that people form lines to recieve favors!!!? girl you have gat to be kidding--NOT COOL!, personally I feel it's more tasteful to have them on the table, that way they know its there for them.

Yes girl. I was at a wedding in September. There were so many people leaving and they were forming a line on their way out the door to get a wedding favor. Tacky!!!! I agree that it is more tasteful to place them on the table.

I have never heard of such a thing. Will wonders every cease. NO LINES PLEASE!
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
Okay, I like the idea of leaving them on the table. My wedding favor is an ink pen with our names, date and a sweet saying; how should I make the presentation on the table for it to stand out? We were going to do an ink pen and a book mark but decided to forgo the book mark and stick with the pen. Any suggestions?
Be Blessed.....
Listen here...there is absolutely no way anyone will ever get me to stand a line for free food much less for a favor that should be a gift and not a feeling of handouts......awww not cool!

The bride whose wedding I attended should've know about Vibride.com. She would never have made that boo boo. The ladies here would've helped her plan the wedding of her dreams.

I blame the people for actually standing on the line waiting.....a bride just like a new mother knows no better.

Charlotte you are too funny. I still can't believe that they stood on that line -- even though I saw it with my own two eyes.

I don't care how hungry I am ...sweeetgirl aint standing on a line...STRAIGHT UP!
