I don't know about a theme but I do like the idea. I do like the song, "You and me go a long way back." I don't know who sings it, but it's an old school song. That would be really nice. Good luck!
You know I really can't put a name on it, but; If you had pictures of the two of you from the when to first started dating til now, you can put a different photo on each table. Put either a song title and the year with it, or a story of where you were when the picture was taken. Make sure you have your DJ play a medley of songs for the 16 years. I'll keep thinking about it.
But the only title I can put on it is 'From here til Now'

Isn't it fabulous....reading Red's story brought a tear to my eye and filled my heart just thinking about them overcoming the years, and then you wonder why everybody can't work out whatever differences, swallow pride and try to make it work. I am so happy for you Red and I wish you and you husband to be all of God's blessings.

I bet a "fairytale" book would be a great idea for your wedding. It could include text and pictures from different years that you all have been together. Maybe there could be one on each table. I've seen where people cover them with fabric to make them really pretty. That would be a nice touch!
I'm thinking of things that are synonymous with the words 'Endless' and the word 'Love'....you can do the fairy tale book as southern suggested, a time line from then to now, maybe an hour glass on each table symbolizing the never ending love you share, and when you think of Love....you gat roses....red roses, black roses, roses roses roses. Everthing in the wedding should scream love because you over came so much and you need to shout it out directly and indirectly. I'm so happy for you.
