Pew decorations

Does anyone have any ideas for inexpensive pew decorations? I'm looking for ways to use real flowers and bows/tulle/ribbon etc. to create pew decorations. Fresh flowers would be beautiful, but I don't want to use too many. Any suggestions? I am thinking of using silk roses to make two big flower balls by using foam in the middle for structure. I think those would look nice on the alter. Any suggestions? What about those long candle holders for the pews. How do you feel about those. I look forward to your feedback!

Do flowers on every other pew and do tulle and bows on the others. Candlabra at the alter would be nice. The ones for the pews can be pricey

Re: Pew decorations

If the flowers are pricy can one opt to use baby's breath? I read somewhere that incorporating these little precious flowers gives it a beautiful look while decreasing what you may spend. Off course still use the HUGE ORGANZA bowes as Moe suggested along with the baby's breath.

You can also go to Petals.com . They have a clearance section that has great arrangements for centerpieces and pew swags even arch flowers. They are a better than normal quality at about the price of those horrible micheal flowers. They would make great table giveaways, too. Something worth keeping.

Re: Pew decorations

Yup it is pretty high over here - I guess cause there is no tax. A gallon of milk $6.99. carton of eggs $1.55. Loaf of bread $2.79 and up that is some of the food products don't get me started on other things - you see how ya'll could lease a vehicle there is only one company over here that does leasing and on average that will be at about $600.00 per month, every where else you have to buy the brand new car and something like a 2006 Toyota Corolla $20,995.00 which is the beginning price - the payment is about $400.00 per month for 5-7 years. That's just a few things.

i hope these sites help you. best of luck

Re: Pew decorations

Love your suggestion Happily!

How about just a simple chiffon bow and flower? Thhese are very classy chair bows and they won't compete for your attention when you are standing at the alter.

For the do it yourselfer:
These clusters will brighten the chairs that line the center aisle, for an extra decorative touch

Askalot you will not feel the cost because you are just visiting and the expenses you incur here will be the same you will incur on any vacation...it's when you are a resident that it can become expensive because you have to consistently purchase necessities.

Re: Pew decorations

I think the "decision" factor comes into play when you comtemplate how it will be paid for.....for me...and this is my second...I am outdoing myself...everything that I wanted the first time and didn't get, I will definitely have....oh yes I will....so I am going with the first picture....that's me right there!!!!, and I will have my Princess Diana bouquet to go with those wonderful pew decorations...my girl will see to that.
