Hi Septbride...welcome to the site, its nice to have you. Listen honey...like you said you have until 07, so what you need to do is stop thinking "quick!"..losing weight is a process and remember it did not come on you over night. What I have done was made up my mind to change "me"..I signed up with Curves (cause it's hard to find a dress that is not sleeveless) I go ever day cause I have nothing else to do and I do not think of it as exercise but as "extra curricula activity", I do not take any type of drugs (even though they recommend vitamins) and I eat just as I always did....THE ONLY THING IS I EAT LESS OF WHAT I USE TO EAT". Going there is fun, the exercises are fun, the machines are hydrolic which means you are not sore and at my 1st weigh in on the 5th of this month (October) I lost 7lbs and 7 inches.....:-) All I need to do now is go shopping cause I am sitting at my desk at this very moment with 2 pins in the back of my pants to keep the waist up....Girlfriend take it in strides...you can do it and you still have time. GO FOR IT!

I have a testimony. I also joined Curves a couple of years ago. While I don't go now, I did see an increase in my weight loss and inches. I also exercised 4-5 times a week because it didn't seem extreme. It was just enough and I was in and out in less that 35 minutes. My muscles were toned and I liked the all girls atmosphere. I still struggled with the weight because I didn't lose as much as I could. Since then, I've lost about 45 pounds from working with a nutritionist. I know you hear it all of the time but it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. I follow a diabetic routine. I struggled at first, but I learned the secret to losing weight. I go to God and ask for his help as I eat what is healthy for my body. Together, we have released 45 or more unhealthy pounds into the universe. With God, all things are possible.
I do a nutritionist too! It really changed my life. I am a true plumy. I gaine 75 pounds in 3 months right before my wedding and lost 20 pounds for my wedding day. I admit I am lazy. I hate going to the gym. I dieted and lost the 20, but it was hard to get the rest of the weight off. I used so many things, but
TrimLife worked for me. I lost an aditional 30 pounds in two months and then I got pregnant with my daughtwer! [lol] Go figure.

Hi Southernthoughts, now that is really encouraging. Where do you find a nutritionist? I like the way you say "released". I want too want to permanently "release" 40 pounds into the universe and make a lifestyle change. My FH has started to lose weight and he looks good. I know that with God on my side I can accomplish anything!!! This site is the best -- I am truly hooked!!!!

Rosetta, how in the world did you manage to gain 75 lbs in 3 months? The reason why I asked is because I've always been thin all of my life. When I turned 30, I started gaining. But after a car accident and a bad breakup,I lost 45 lbs.Even though things are better and I gained some weight;I haven't gained as much as I want. My goal is to gain 25 lbs. before my wedding in June.My FH says he's comfortable with my size but I just want added umph for my wedding :-)!

All of these stories are truly and inspiration. I was about 170 (did not look it (solid bones) & I was happy with my weight/shape) before I got pregnant with my daughter (2nd child). I didn't work for 2yrs after I gave birth and gained sooooooo much weight. My daughter is now 4 and I have only lost about 5 pounds. I get sad sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror. But FH says he loves me just the way I am (awwwwwwwwww...but that's some hogwash). lol Bottom line is I'm not happy. I may try TrimSpa.
Rosetta, how in the world did you manage to gain 75 lbs in 3 months?
No one knows for sure. Doctors have been guessing. Stress from the upcoming wedding, My graduation and some thought it was hormones. I did fall and hit my head while talking dirty to my FH between classes. Maybe it was GOD. [lol] I maintained 115 for years until I was 25. That is when it happened.
