Hello ladies,
I have enjoyed reading the different posts. They have really helped me during this planning phase of my wedding. I am trying not to get stressed out like I did last year(original date 8-5-05). So I'm asking for your help. My bm's dresses are cornflower blue(blue fav color), my gown is diamond white/champagne. I need ideas on linen colors. I love blue but all that blue would drive me crazy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What do you think about Silver?
Born Blessed!
What about champagne?

Platinum/silver would just make that blue pop! Good luck, when is your new wedding date?

I can see cobalt blue and platinum together, but cornflower blue and platinum they kinda wash out. I pulled out my swatches and put the two colors together and and they need a little more umph. The standard whites doesn't help it much either. A vibrant shade of blue with the cornflower blue, platinum/silver, and a few sprinkles of champagne/blush pinks to bounce off your gown would be very nice. What time of day is the wedding?

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions. The new date is this coming August 5,2006. The time hasn't been locked down but we are thinking 2 or 3 in the afternoon. My dad passed 8 yrs ago this December. After the ceremony, after pictures and congrats I told my fiance'(we've been together 10 yrs)I want to put my bouquet on his grave. I really miss him especially now. My grandfather, GOD willing, will walk me down the aisle. If not my brother said he would be proud to do it.
Thanks Niquey!, WOW....that color is is is.....hmmmm(gatta think) very hard, nice but hard.....like nique said the platinum will get lost and if you are looking at 2-3 afternoon, that is too early for platinum (more of an after 6pm color) how about a very soft some what pale yellow. DO YOU SEE HOW THAT POPS ON THE FLOWERS IN THE BACKGROUND OF THOSE DRESSES....I would maybe try that color and use cornflower blue ink for any writings or initials. BUT! yellow at an AUGUST wedding...hmmm, not sure, what do you think Niquey?

I still say go with a color that will draw out the Champagne color in your gown.

Monique, I agree with the cobalt blue and platinum/silver. Those colors will really pop. I think cornflower blue and platinum/silver will just blend together. I love the colors Monique suggested.
Blessed be the Lord my strength ......
moNIQUE.....is champagne in the yellow or gold family?...if it is, then that dark color would be appropriate for the August (Fall) wedding, don't you think?
