Hey ladies,
I seriously need help. I have no idea about what to include in gift registries. We won't have our house when we first get married. It'll probably be about 3-4 months. So how do I go about choosing what to ask for.

If you have not chosen your color schemes for your new home, such as the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc., I would go with something that you could use regardless of colors. Such as silverware, towels (you can always use towels regardless of your color scheme), linen (if you know the size of your bed), everyday dinnerware, glasses, pots, pans, skillets, etc. Best wishes, and congatulations on when you get your new home.
Exactly! You ladies nailed it! Linens, small appliances in stainless or basic white, and of course, a china pattern with drinkware. Registeries seem hard when you sit at home thinking what to put on the list. And God know, some of the stores you go into can be large and overwhelming. But once you get that little scanner in your hand you become a 'registry maniac'! LOL!
Yeah ladies but don't forget those wastebaskets (kitchen and rooms) clothes hampers, you know pratical everyday stuff. People enjoy purchasing things that the couple can actually use. Have fun!
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
You'll think I am joking...those things are very important and people will purchase them before anything else on the registry. I would difinitely include them because over here while we may not have tax added, things are very expensive (can you imagine paying $80-100.00 for a clothing hamper) yup! close ya mouth nah....so you see, if you can include that on your registry why not!

Charlotte -- I hope you did not misunderstand me -- I did not think you were joking -- it just appeared that you and Rhonda were bantering with each other -- I thought it was cute :-). You are so right -- hampers, etc., can be expensive. Even if the colors are known, some people are not concerned about the colors when it comes to hampers, trashcans, wastebaskets, etc., and a basic type and a neutral color will do.
I believe anything that you want, need, find useful or desire can be put on a registry. Even important items that people wouldn't normally think of as Charlotte suggested. Go ahead have fun.

So Love you girl, oh and yeah Rhoda was bantering me cus she knows my head bad...I used to it, actually I be expecting her to react that way :-)

Oh and it is not lined with gold...for that priveledge you will pay an additional 50.00 bucks [lol]

I agree with 2ndTime, if you haven't decided on color schemes for your new home, just stick with the basics. All the best Marquita01!
