Hello sisters! Just popping in to say hi. I've been so tied up lately. My hubby was in an accident on his job, an elevator fell fifteen floors and his knee is shattered(thank God that's all he hurt)so we been running back an forth to doctors. I miss you guys!! I need a good laugh! Give me some updates.

Monique, I think that I may have replied to a few posts of your in the past or vice versa. I learned that you were the wedding diva from the other women very quickly. I am fairly new but have been on the boards quite often lately and actually wondered where you were. I am so sorry to hear about you husbands accident. Very glad that he's alright. a fifteen flight accident could have been a lot worse, so GOD was definitely on his side. I will keep him in my prayers.
I'm so glad that we have a God who loves and protects us. That's truly awesome that angels encamped around your dear hubby. Let's see... a laugh??? I got it, my 9 yr old daughter now attends and ABEKA school and me trying to be a good parent, I bought her several books over the summer to get her prepared (some turned out to be the ones the teacher uses) so she had a math test the other day and while I was getting ready for work, she takes red & blue inkpens and writes the answers in her hand (she's left handed and writes in big letters) so of course I saw it and she tries to shut her hand but the answers are all the way down to the side of her hand.
Thank you all so much for your prayers, God is good all the time! It could have been a whole lot worse. I was traveling when it happened, on the train an hour away from NY when my SIL called me. My heart stopped and I'm sure I aged another ten years in those few remaining minutes of travel. They have not replaced the knee yet so he's in pain all the time, but he tries to mask the pain for the family. Please keep us in your prayers.
SISTA - Thank you for making my sides hurt, I visualize pretty much everything, so honey I could see those answers written in her hand! LOL!! These children, I tell you, God put them here for our comic relief.
I try to keep him in good spirits and sometimes it's hard. The man is used to working. I'm taking him out on a date tonight, if the weather allows it. Dinner and a movie, and them we'll swing into Manhattan to see the Christmas tree. I love him so much and it's hard seeing him this way, but I got his back no matter what.

Ok I am fusrated with myself for not logging on yesterday afternoon to see this post! Niquey...nah you know how we (me and you) go, even though this relationship started from July......we been spirit friends forever :-). My heart hurts for you and your husband because of the pain he is experiencing right now...I am however not worried about hs spirit man because God already got the Victory out of this...what the devil meant for bad....God turned it out for Good and He gets the Glory, Halleluiah....He has been to the cross already for this knee so I am not worried about my BIL's Knee at all....Know that I love you, I pray for you that God strengthens you during this time of trail, but know that He is only taking you to another level and that is why you are going through this at this point. Precious you all will be just all right, just pour on the ultra TLC, he'll love it. Take your sweety out on a date and spoil him Rotten :-).

I'm new here too. I think we had a little talk about my dress but I didn't realize this much was going on with you. Actually having only a shattered knee after a fall down 15 flights is nothing short of a miracle. God saved your husband for a reason girl. I will be praying for you both.
