MUSIC HELP PLEEEAASSEEE!!!

Hey Nlbostic, you said you really wanted to use "Spend my life with you" by Tamia and Eric Benet. I love that song and I don't think it is common. I have been to several weddings and to tell you the truth, I never heard it played for the processional. It is a beautiful song and I am very partial to it -- perhaps you should reconsider.... I haven't even begun to think about songs because of this apartment thing. Suggestion: maybe your FH's father can sing after you guys exchange your vows. The good thing about it is you can pretty much do what you want, it's your wedding. Good luck.

Hi Nlbostic, that was actually Charlotte (she and I have the same busy bee -- great minds think alike!) that suggested that you have your FIL sing when you sign your license. What I suggested is that you exchange vows, then he sings, then exchange rings and then the Lord's Prayer.

Hey I have never heard of signing the licence before the ceremony...that's a first for me. Interesting thou...nah iff we could cut thru some other parts in the whole event that would be great--like the waiting while the bride takes pictures with serving refreshments :-)

Yolanda is a gifted woman of God who can really SSSSAAANNNGG! (that's what we say over here) - I have her CD in my car and I listen to it every morning on the way to work - have to so these foolish drivers don't cause me to cuss...my only concern is that the person at your wedding can actually sing this wonderful song.

Charly i'm gonna send you to the corner :) I don't know if she can sing like Yalonda Adams, but she can blow, she has a strong voice, I think everyone has their own style and she has been singing in the church since she was a kid. My FH asked that same question, so now she has to try out. One time we went to this wedding and this lady was singing real loud and everybody got silent and they were holding their ears, I tried my best not to laugh, but I couldn't it was terrible! and thanks for all of your opinions, greatly appreciated

I think the problem is not only singing too loud but singing out of tone - a lot of people can not carry a note if you put it in a paper sack and staple it shut...and the hurtful thing is they do not realize it and nobody will straight up and tell them the truth.
