It lets me know that there are other women out there who have the same thoughts and feelings I have. I am scared as heck!! My finance and I have been together for 5 years. Why should I be so scared? Dear TonyaL...try to think of relaxing moments...happy times..picture everyone in the pews with red clown noses on...just imagine silly things...to get you through..atleast up the aisle. I am terribly nervous...just 16 days away..so I am tryin to think of all sorts of things to keep me smiling...relaxed.
Why should we be nervous? Girl this is the day you have waited your whole life for...and to make matters thicker...we doin it in front of everyone we know who has been impacted by our union...yes even the haters lol.

Amen IslandBride! It is normal to be nervous. I'm nervous too and I have known my fiance for over 17 years (we were not together that whole time). He is the love of my life and I believe in my heart that The Almighty has placed us together. I have found through the whole experience that people who I thought would be in my corner are not, but I as IslandBride says think of happy or silly thoughts, it will make things a lot easier. We have waited for this day all of our lives so it is bound to come with a whole host of emotions attached to it. When is your wedding date TonyaLanette? Hang in there girl and expect only the best, for the best is yet to come.

Thanks. I never thought of imagining silly things. I'll try that. Lord knows I laugh too much. My nickname in high school was "giggle box". My wedding is July 22, 2006.
Congratulations TonyaLanette, we already have something in common. My older brother gave me a nickname when we were children, he calls me "giggles"!
